How it goes

  1. Step 1 of 3

    Scope it in writing

A few emails to pin down the problem, the data and what "done" looks like. You get a written scope and a price before anything starts.

    The full process
  2. Step 2 of 3

    Build on your real data

Days, not months, for most projects. We say which parts were automated and which were checked by hand.

    How we use automation
  3. Step 3 of 3

    Hand it over, documented

Files, logic and a walkthrough. Nothing depends on us to keep running.

Questions people ask

Do you design comp plans or just calculate them?

Both, within limits. We model plan options, show what each would have paid on last year's data, and build the calculation once a plan is chosen. Plan policy stays with your leadership.

Which systems have you worked with?

Salesforce, NetSuite, Dynamics CRM and Business Central, with Excel, Power BI and Databricks on top. No commission tool is required; the workbook is the system of record until you want one.

How do you handle disputes?

Every credited deal carries its source ID, so a dispute is a lookup, not an argument. Adjustments are logged on their own tab with the approver and the reason.

What does this cost?

A first commission run on a clean plan is typically a fixed-price project; ongoing quarterly runs are hourly or a flat retainer. You get a written scope and price before any work starts.
